Fair Comparisons · KvK 42031267 · Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Version 2.2 · 2 September 2026 · Effective from the day of publication at yumzi.food/creators/terms
1.1 These terms are an agreement between Fair Comparisons, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42031267 and operating the Yumzi app and website ("Yumzi", "we", "us"), and the person or business whose application to Creator Partnerships we accept ("you", "the partner").
1.2 "Program" means Creator Partnerships as described in these terms. "Link" means the referral link we issue to you and "code" the referral code we issue to you. "Referred household" means a Yumzi household whose first sign-up is attributed to your link or code under article 4. "Net subscription revenue" means the amount we actually receive for a referred household's Yumzi subscription payment after the app store's commission, VAT and any refund. "Dashboard" means the partner dashboard at yumzi.food/creators/dashboard. "Partner content" means content you create about Yumzi or publish together with your link or code.
1.3 These terms apply in addition to the Yumzi terms of service and privacy policy, which govern your Yumzi account. Where these terms and the terms of service differ on a matter of the program, these terms prevail.
1.4 You take part as an independent party. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, a partnership in the legal sense, an agency or an exclusive relationship.
2.1 You apply at yumzi.food/creators/apply. You must hold a Yumzi account, be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
2.2 We decide on applications at our discretion and inform you by email. We may decline without giving reasons.
2.3 On approval we issue you one link and one code. Both are personal to you and may not be transferred, sold or made available for use by others.
2.4 By submitting an application you accept these terms in the version shown on the application form. The version you accepted is recorded with your application.
3.1 We pay you a revenue share of 30 percent of the net subscription revenue we receive from each referred household in the six calendar months following that household's first subscription payment, being the month of the first payment and the five months after it.
3.2 A payment made in advance, such as an annual subscription, is counted in full in the month in which we receive it.
3.3 No other compensation is owed. Link opens, sign-ups and first cooks are shown on your dashboard so you can see the effect of your posts; they are not paid.
3.4 Your revenue share is zero until a referred household has paid for a subscription. At the date of this version the announced prices are 4.99 euro a month or 39.99 euro a year.
3.5 Illustration, at the announced prices and paid through the App Store: a yearly subscription of 39.99 euro is 33.05 euro after Dutch VAT and 28.09 euro after Apple's commission of 15 percent (23.14 euro at 30 percent); your share for that household is then roughly 7 to 8.50 euro. A monthly subscription of 4.99 euro is roughly 3.50 euro net a month at 15 percent (2.89 euro at 30 percent); six months of your share is roughly 5 to 6.30 euro. These figures illustrate the calculation and are not a guarantee.
3.6 Amounts are in euro and exclude VAT.
4.1 Link. When a person opens your link, their browser stores a cookie with your code for 30 days. Attribution is first-touch: the first code stored is kept and is not replaced by a later one.
4.2 Code. When a person enters your code at sign-in in the Yumzi app or website, the same attribution applies.
4.3 A household is a referred household if its account is created within 30 days of opening your link, in the same browser, or if your code was entered at that sign-in. The 30 days are between opening your link and creating the account. After that there is no deadline: the first payment counts whenever it happens, and the six months of article 3.1 run from there.
4.4 Each household is counted once, for the partner to whom it was first attributed, regardless of how many times it opens a link.
4.5 Your own household, households you create, and accounts created for the purpose of generating compensation are not referred households.
4.6 We determine attribution and compensation from our systems. Your dashboard shows link opens, sign-ups, first cooks, paid subscriptions and your revenue share per month.
4.7 If you believe a figure is wrong, you may ask us to explain it by email, and we will show you how it was calculated.
5.1 We pay out at the end of every month, provided your accrued balance has reached 25 euro. A lower balance carries over to the next month.
5.2 Payment is made, at your choice, by bank transfer, by a Tikkie or iDEAL payment request that you send us, by PayPal or by Wise. We request the necessary payment details when a payout is due and do not store bank details in the Yumzi app.
5.3 You are responsible for any taxes and social charges on amounts we pay you. On request we provide a specification or an invoice.
5.4 A refund or chargeback of a referred household's payment reduces net subscription revenue. We may set off the corresponding part of your share against your next payout.
6.1 You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use partner content in our marketing, including paid advertising on any platform, and to cut, subtitle and distribute it for that purpose.
6.2 The licence runs for the term of the partnership and for twelve months after it ends.
6.3 We email you before we first use a piece of partner content in a paid advertisement.
6.4 You warrant that you hold the rights needed for this licence, including the rights to the footage, the consent of any person shown, and the rights to the audio, and that our use under this article infringes no third-party right. Music provided by a platform is generally not cleared for advertising; we may replace the audio of partner content we use.
6.5 Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your content to us.
7.1 You make the partnership recognisable as advertising in every post, story, video or podcast that contains your link or code, in line with the Dutch Advertising Code (NRC) and the Advertising Code for Social Media & Influencer Marketing (RSM). Acceptable ways, always combined with naming or tagging Yumzi: the label 'AD', 'Reclame', 'Advertentie', 'Advertorial', '(Betaald) partnerschap', '(Betaalde) promotie' or '(Betaalde) samenwerking', with or without a hashtag; the platform's own paid-partnership feature; or the sentence 'Ik ontvang commissie voor de verkopen' (in English: 'I earn a commission on sales'). The words 'affiliate', 'commissie' or 'partner link' on their own, or abbreviations of them, are not sufficient. In video and audio you say it at the start; in a story on every frame; in a caption at the top, not among the hashtags.
7.2 You may not: (a) send unsolicited messages or post your link under content that is not yours; (b) run paid search or social advertising on the Yumzi name or misspellings of it; (c) make claims about Yumzi that are not in the partner guide; (d) use other people's videos to promote Yumzi; (e) refer yourself, or create or purchase accounts to generate compensation.
7.3 We may remove partner content that violates article 7.1 or 7.2 from our marketing and may suspend your link and code while we investigate a suspected violation.
7.4 We have an active duty of care under the RSM. We check your first post that contains your link or code and may check later posts. If a post is not compliant we ask you to correct it within 48 hours and may pause your link and code until it is. Repeated non-compliance ends the partnership under article 8.
7.5 Do not post about Yumzi in content aimed at minors. The Children's and Youth Advertising Code applies to such content and it is outside this partnership.
7.6 Dutch law may require you to register with the Commissariaat voor de Media if you have more than 100,000 followers, post at least 24 videos a year and earn from them, and to register with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) if you earn structurally. Both are your responsibility, not ours.
8.1 The partnership starts on approval and continues until terminated.
8.2 You may terminate at any time by email to hello@yumzi.food. We may terminate at any time by email, stating the reason.
8.3 On termination, compensation accrued under article 3 for months before termination remains payable under article 5. Compensation is forfeited in the case of a violation of article 7.2(e) or of fraud.
8.4 Articles 6 (for the period stated in it), 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.
9.1 Our liability under these terms is limited to the compensation owed to you under article 3 and unpaid at the time of the claim.
9.2 We do not guarantee the availability of Yumzi, the number of sign-ups or subscriptions your content will produce, or the opening or continued existence of a paid plan.
9.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.
10.1 To run the program we process your handles and the platforms you post on, your code, the counts shown on your dashboard and the payout ledger. Payout details are requested when a payout is due and are kept outside the Yumzi app.
10.2 Referred households are shown to you as counts, never as identifiable persons.
10.3 The Yumzi privacy policy applies. You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your partner data by email.
11.1 We may change these terms. We inform you by email before a change takes effect and state what has changed.
11.2 A change does not affect compensation already accrued.
11.3 If you do not accept a change, you may terminate under article 8.2.
12.1 These terms are governed by Dutch law.
12.2 Disputes arising from these terms are submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
13.1 This is version 2.2 of the Creator Partnerships Terms, dated 2 September 2026. It takes effect on the day it is published at yumzi.food/creators/terms and replaces earlier versions.
13.2 Questions about these terms: hello@yumzi.food.
