A TikTok recipe app is only useful if it can handle the posts you actually save, and a lot of those have no recipe written anywhere. What do most TikTok recipe apps actually import?

Is Yumzi the only app that does this?

No, and it is worth saying so. cooking.guru and FoodiePrep both state they read voice-over and on-screen text as well, and ReciMe says it detects the recipe from a video’s audio when a post has no written recipe. Whichever you try, test it on the last reel you actually saved rather than on a demo clip, because that is the only test that settles it.

What Yumzi adds after the read is the planning half: the recipe goes into a weekly dinner plan scored against the Schijf van Vijf, and the week becomes one shopping list with duplicate ingredients merged into single buyable quantities.
